Surf Bay Lodge was launched in Spring of 2015 and is located on the outskirts of Appledore where it commands panoramic views of the stunning North Devon coastline with a south facing private terrace and stunning views of the sea. The lodge itself is luxurious gaining fabulous reviews for attention to detail touches designed to make your stay one you will remember and now we have added the house to bring Surf Bay Complex for larger bookings.

The complex boasts fabulous facilities which include a luxury outdoor hot tub/spa, a private heated swimming pool and a beautiful modern wet room with Jacuzzi bath.

We take great pride in the design and presentation of the complex which has brought us fabulous reviews from very satisfied customers and repeated bookings. Every year we update the facilities such as new fixtures, accessories and bed linen all to ensure that each time you stay there will be something new to add to the experience.

We are able to offer packages through-out the year which are noted on this site such as breakfast in bed cooked by a local Chef, aromatherapy essences which we can add to the outside hot tub to add to your experience, plus many other lovely touches. We can also make suggestions of places to visit such as the overview of places mentioned below, these are for the purposes of helpfulness.*

The market town of Bideford is very convenient, where most other local amenities can be found within a five minute journey by car and we are also located on an excellent bus route. We will ensure to provide you all the information you may need and we are always available to contact and ask.

The Private enclosed area is beyond two large white gates at the top of the drive which you can close for privacy, this is deemed your private area. However, we may from time to time need to have maintenance engineers attend for remedial work and for work in the field areas. In addition, we run a wedding car business where we will need to access the lower garage but not inside the house or complex, notice will be provided.

Surf Bay Lodge can also be viewed and booked on Airbnb however, if you are looking to book extras or special touches please use our own booking form for a tailored quote. Please note any damage or breakages is chargeable as we hope that you enjoy your stay but that you look after our lovely house.
